Thriving Neighbourhoods - Network, Framework, Process, Program

Neighbourhoods are a place where people live and/or work and where they have a feeling of belonging or identification with other people and spaces.

Thriving neighbourhoods is a public space where – like all inspiring, vibrant places – there is a mix of many different types of people and organisations, who can bring their experience, expertise, passion, lifestyles, cultures and ethnicities to contribute to the sense and nature of the neighbourhood.

We explore how ICLEI enables our neighbourhoods to become more thriving in many ways:

  • Our Thriving Neighbourhoods Framework
  • Our Thriving Neighbourhoods Process and Program
  • Our annual conference
  • Our discussion blog
  • Our events, such as our one-day session at Auckland, NZ
  • Our online archive of presentations and materials from 2011 and 2012
